As if more than half a century explosion of scientific progress had passed in vain. Who wants to do research goes, Today as yesterday, for the same reasons. Why is there no end to their careers, because there are no adequate salaries, nor are there funds for research and the gates of (great) centers research are barred because it lacks, in addition to funding, the organization to accommodate new groups and new ideas. Why does not exist in Italy the culture of science, understood as a tendency for innovation here in the United States, is privileged in all respects and is the engine of change.
