A weekend in Antwerp

Antwerp, the city of Rubens , but also one of Europe's fashion capital of avant-garde. And not only.
Here creativity explodes at every turn around quell'indiscusso fulcrum represented by Fashion Department of the Royal Academy or Fine Arts in the building that houses the Nationalestraat ModeMuseum or MoMu as it is called normally. On the bill until next February 13 the exhibition "Stephen Jones & het accent op mode" on the 30th anniversary of the famous maison hatter English boasting collaborations between its designers as Marc Jacobs, John Galliano and Christian D ior .
A few steps from the Museo, RA , a former garage now very cool concept store, next to where emerging designers such as Akira Naka also jewels, each one unique, branded Tanudiredja Heaven and amazing vintage clothing brands of the most celebrated ' universe fashion. Not to be missed, at least out of curiosity, the boutique Erotishe Berbeelding Kloosterstraat in 165 where you can see underwear très chic next to books and erotic objects.
And since the palate wants its part is a must stop by Gunther Watt with his chocolates to leave really amazed! As for breakfast, a light L unch or dinner (but be careful because it closes at 20) there is nothing better than Farines Food in Vlaamsekaai 30, managed by the friendly Justine and his daughter Alexandra , dek restaurant chef. The cost? € 10 for breakfast and a maximum of € 25 for lunch and dinner.
And for all lovers of jazz - the best one - that's de Hopper while sleeping, the guest house MO851 (Nationalestraat 19) just above the eponymous leather goods shop. Only three rooms, bright, minimalist-chic in the heart!
